* Daniel Swenson of Northeast finished in third place in the sectional decathlon. However, due to Northeast not being listed on the approved pole vault list, which was an error on the part of the State Office, Daniel was not allowed to pole vault at the sectional decathlon. Daniel was allowed to pole vault under the administration of the District 9 AAA Coordinator at an approved site, and he pole vaulted 8'0". The points for clearing 8'0" would have placed him in second place if he would have been allowed to pole vault at the sectional meet and would have qualified him for the state decathlon. Based on this information, no student-athletes are being eliminated from qualifying for the state meet and there will be no change in points earned at the sectional decathlon.
