2006 BlueCross Bowl Football Championships
Division II BlueCross Bowl state championship games are to begin on November 18 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) (Class A), 3:30 p.m. (CST) (Class AA), and 7:00 p.m. (CST) (Class AAA) at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Division I BlueCross Bowl Class 1A and 2A championship games are to start at 3:30 p.m. (CST) and 7 p.m. (CST), respectively on December 1. Kickoff for the Class 3A championship game is noon (CST), followed by the 4A game at 3:30 p.m. (CST) and 5A game at 7 p.m. (CST) on December 2 at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN.
In all play-off games, in the first and second rounds the higher seeded team shall be the host school. In the third round and semifinals in odd-numbered years the top team in each bracket shall be the host team. In even-numbered years the procedure shall be rotated in the third round and semifinals. However, in the third round if two teams from the same region play each other, the higher seeded team shall be the host.
