- Approved Minutes of Previous Meeting
- Approved the Financial Statement of the 2011 Boys' and Girls' State Golf Tournaments
- Approved the Financial Report of the 2011 Girls' Volleyball Tournaments
- Approved the Financial Report of the 2011 Girls' Soccer Tournaments
- Approved the Financial Report of the 2011 State Cross Country Meet
- Approved the Financial Report of the 2011 Cheer and Dance Competition
- Approved the Financial Report of the 2011 Football Playoffs
- Approved the 2012-2013 TSSAA Calendar
- Voted to instruct the state office staff to conduct the drawing for the Regional and State Tennis Tournaments.
- Reviewed the action of the Legislative Council
- Review of Hall of Champions Games will be tabled until March
- Heard update regarding the Tennessee Sports Medicine Advisory Committee
- Voted to extend contract of Bernard Childress as the Executive Director for another three years.
- Discussed the Classification Timeline. The 2012-2013 school year ends the current classification period. Member schools will be contacted this semester regarding information for the next four-year classification period.
- Knoxville Christian School Withdraws TSSAA Membership
Knoxville Christian was approved by the Board and allowed to rejoin as an affiliate member on November 18, 2010. A memo has been sent to the schools in Division I, District 3, Class A informing them of their decision to withdraw. They will not be eligible to participate in any TSSAA postseason tournament events.
- Approved Request for membership for Montgomery Ridge Intermediate and Coulter Grove Intermediate in TMSAA. Both schools are part of the Maryville City Schools System.
Approved TSSAA membership request for the current Maryville Middle School (grades 7-8) as a member of TSSAA beginning in 2012-13. The school will house grades 8-9 with the name change to Maryville Jr. High.
