Requests have been made from the following schools for membership in TSSAA effective with the 2003-2004 school year:

 

(a)   Lighthouse Christian Academy in Millington

(b)   Merrol Hyde Magnet School in Gallatin

(c)   Montessori Academy in Brentwood

(d)   White House Christian Academy in White House

 

  1. Lighthouse Christian School Withdraws from TSSAA

 

  1. Bids for Girls’ and Boys’ State Basketball Tournaments for 2006-2007

 

The Board of Control has received bids for the 2006-2007 State Basketball Tournaments from Chattanooga, Memphis, and Murfreesboro.  Chattanooga has submitted a proposal for both tournaments, Memphis has submitted a proposal for the boys’ tournament only, and Murfreesboro has submitted a proposal for both tournaments.  Each city will be given a 30-minute opportunity to give an overview of their proposal and answer any questions from the Board and staff.
