The Football Playoff Committee met on December 16, 2009 and January 13, 2010 at the state office. The Committee has proposed a system to use in order to determine the teams that qualify for the football playoffs next season. This will be presented to the Board as a recommendation from the Football Playoff Committee.

11. Proposal from TMSAA Committee to Allow Football Practice to Start July 26 in 2010-11

The TMSAA Committee met on February 17, 2010. Members of the Committee voted to ask the Board of Control to allow football to begin practice on July 26, 2010. This would coincide with the high school calendar for 2010-11.

14. Region 7 Wrestling Schools Request Change in District Alignment

The schools in Region 7 submitted a proposal to move Dickson County form District 14 to District 13 in wrestling. District 14 is made up of the following seven teams: Clarksville, Clarksville Northeast, Clarksville Northwest, Dickson County, Kenwood, Rossview, and West Creek. District 13 has three teams which are: Beech, Hendersonville, and Springfield.
