TSSAA FOOTBALL SCHEDULING CALENDAR

 

The purpose of this calendar is to designate officially the opening date for football practice and the first Friday on which a game may be played. For example, if school A is playing school B on Aug. 30, 2013, the second game of the two-year contract will by played on Aug. 29, 2014.

 

While the dates given for the first game are for Friday, it is possible for a school to play its first game on the Wednesday preceding that Friday.

 

The date on which each of the two games is to be played should be shown on the contract and should follow this scheduling calendar. It is mandatory that all TSSAA schools use this calendar in scheduling football games.
