1. Make a tournament draw based on seeding criteria.

2. Set schedule and times for all matches, if not already done. Notify assigning officer of local association of district tournament schedule, times and sites as soon as possible.

3. District/Region coaches may recommend officials for district/regional tournament play. Based on the number of games scheduled, the times, and the availability of officials who have passed the Part II exam, the assigning officer will assign officials.

4. Game officials shall be paid regular season rates plus mileage at 15¢ per official, per mile if two officials are assigned. If three officials are assigned, the mileage will be 10¢ per official. Mileage is to be paid only if travel for the official is outside of the county in which the official resides and should be based on mileage from city to city according to the state map.

5. Set price of admission, provide for tickets to be used.

6. Make any other necessary financial arrangements.

7. Agree on number of passes to be issued to participating teams. Determine what passes, if any, are to be honored at the gate.

8. A team may dress an unlimited number of players for district and regional tournaments.

9. Teams should be informed that if gate receipts do not equal expenses, then participating teams will be billed equal shares for the cost of the tournament.

10. Secure necessary tournament workers, etc.

11. If concessions are sold, receipts go to the host school or those designated by the tournament director.

12. Matches should follow as closely as possible to the tournament time schedule.

13. Cover any other district/region tournament business.

4. In Division I, the district championship plaque, runner-up plaque, and region championship plaque can be obtained from the District Coordinator in your area. If there is no district tournament, then only the region champion plaque can be obtained from the District Coordinator in your area. The Division II region champion and runner-up plaque can be obtained from the Region Coordinator in your area.

5. TSSAA shall receive 18% of the gross gate receipts. If your district/region tournament is held at several sites, all financial information and money must be given to the tournament director. The tournament director may either include one form for each site or one report for all sites. Make the report in duplicate and keep one copy for your files. Please enclose a completed bracket of your district/regional tournament.
   All checks for district, regional, and sectional tournaments and playoffs must be distributed within 10 business days of the completion of the tournament or game. Failure to do so will result in a $100.00 late fee to be paid to TSSAA and is to be used in the A.F. Bridges sportsmanship program to go to schools or students receiving awards. Failure to distribute funds within 20 business days will result in an additional $200 late fee (total $300.00). Failure to distribute funds within 40 business days will result in an additional $200.00 late fee (total $500.00). The school may not host any tournament or playoff until the principal or athletic director appears before the Board of Control to explain their reasons for not distributing the checks within the required time frame. The Board would then determine whether the school can host tournaments or playoffs in the future.

6. Tournament directors should inform the local press of tournament plan, times, bracket, etc. This will help in giving your teams and tournament some publicity and may help your attendance.

7. Video taping or filming is permitted as long as the taping or filming is for private use or use by the two schools involved and not for public or commercial use. Video taping or filming must be done from the individual's seat. Individuals will not be allowed to use tripods. A school taping or filming its own games may use a tripod. All taping or filming by a school may be approved by the local Game Director, and the Game Director shall assign space, when available, for the school to tape or film.
